About Kajwejwete foundation
Bunyala Kingdom Initiative
Kajwejwete Foundation is a social development initiative by Her Royal Highness Betty Nankya, Kajwejwete (the queen) of Bunyala Kingdom. The organization’s offices are located in Kyerima village in Kayunga District.
The organization was registered as a Community Based Organization (CBO) by Kayunga District Local Government in 2014 with Reg. No. 368/2014. It aims at addressing key challenges affecting society through unlocking people’s potential for self-sustenance and uplifting standards of living targeting mainly women and youth. Its main focus among others include; education, Gender Based Violence, Sexual and Reproductive Health, Maternal Health, women involvement in agriculture.
